CURBSIDE RECYCLING
The Town of Mooresville offers a curbside recycling program to residents living in single-family homes, townhomes, and duplexes. The town will deliver a 96-gallon blue roll-out recyclables container to residences of the Town of Mooresville. The container will be emptied every other week on your normal trash day. Policies
  • Do not mix garbage with recyclables in the cart. This increases the costs of sorting and disposal. If garbage is found in the recycling cart, a cart will be tagged and recorded for violating the City's Solid Waste Ordinance. Continued violations will result in the material not being collected and/or fines being issued. Please rinse all cans, bottles, and jars before placing them in the recycling container.

NON-RECYCLABLE ITEMS

  • Audio/videotapes
  • CDs and DVDs
  • Clothing and other fabric
  • Glass bottles and jars
