Community Outreach/Destination Recreation

The Mooresville Parks & Recreation Community Outreach division, was created to facilitate Parks & Recreation reaching the community in new and creative ways. The overall goal for this division is to provide opportunities for all individuals in the community to participate in fun activities while building relationships to inform, involve and support the community.

In many cases, activities are free to the public and focused on taking recreation (and the Destination Recreation unit) into the community instead of requiring individuals to come to our permanent locations.

While the primary focus is recreation, Community Outreach will be focused on additional opportunities including nature and art programs.
