Public Meeting Scheduled for Moore Avenue Improvements
The public is invited to an in-person open house public meeting with the Town of Mooresville to discuss the proposed construction of the Moore Avenue Improvement Project.
The proposed improvements on Moore Avenue begin at N. Church Street and end at N. Academy Street in Downtown Mooresville. The project would include wider sidewalks, streetscape enhancements (such as landscaping), and improved crosswalks. This project would also convert Moore Avenue to a single lane, one-way street from N. Church Street to N. Broad Street with traffic moving northwest towards Broad Street.
Project staff will host the open house on November 16, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The open house will be in the Executive Town Board Room in Town Hall (413 N. Main Street).
The Town will accept comments at the open house and through December 16, 2022. You may find public meeting materials on the Town website at (704) 799-4093. You may also contact the Project Manager with questions or comments:
