Railroad Work to Close Two Downtown Crossings

Norfolk Southern has rescheduled railroad crossing repairs in Downtown Mooresville.

Crews will close the crossing at Iredell Avenue and N. Broad Street October 24 and 25 to replace existing equipment. Once that crossing is complete on October 25, Norfolk Southern will begin updating equipment at the W. Wilson Avenue crossing, between N. Broad and N. Main Streets. Work is anticipated to be complete on October 26, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place to help you navigate the closures.
