Yard Waste

Yard debris includes:

• leaves
• grass clippings
• limbs
• larger branches 

Please place each of these items in separate piles at the curb. Everything should sit loosely in a neatly organized pile for the crew (nothing should be bagged or tied). Seasonal volumes for loose leaf collection during the fall or severe storm debris may occasionally cause a delay in the schedule. Limbs should be no larger than 4ft in length or 4in thick and must be stacked in the same direction for the claw to be able to grab them all. Large limbs are collected by a different truck using special equipment. This truck may not come around on your regular schedule but should collect within 3 to 5 business days of your scheduled pick up.

Tree service contractors are responsible for the removal and proper disposal of all material generated by their work. The Town will only collect yard waste from the residents. 

The Town does not collect mulch or dirt.
