Book Bundles Are you looking for personalized book recommendations? Do you miss browsing your library's shelves and talking with your librarians about what to read next? Then Book Bundles Can Help! Book Bundles are a collection of books on a theme or topic.  Let us know what materials you want, and we will put together a book bundle based on your interests.  It is our way of helping you browse the shelves!  Request a personalized Book Bundle for pickup by submitting the Request a Book Bundle form or by calling the Youth Services department 704-664-2927 and asking about Book Bundles. Book Bundles are available via the holds shelf 9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

1000 Books before Kindergarten (Children 0-6 years of age)


This multi-year, pre-literacy program encourages families to READ to their little ones before they enter Kindergarten. YOU are your child's first and most important teacher. Pick up your information packet at the Youth Services Reference Desk and begin your family's journey to reading 1000 Books Before Kindergarten.

Sign up at the Library to read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. Register your child in person and earn small prizes at predetermined milestones.
