The Town of Mooresville encourages residents to be involved and participate in the development and enhancement of the Town and community. The Town’s Volunteer Program is a great way to be engaged and involved in a wide variety of activities such as coaching youth athletics, tutoring, or assisting at the Mooresville Public Library.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS
Young residents are welcome to participate in the Mooresville Volunteer Program. They must be at least 14 years old, unless they are working in a volunteer program position with a parent, teacher, or another caregiver.

BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
The Town of Mooresville has several boards and committees community members can serve on, including Board of Adjustment, Community Relations Committee, and Mooresville Youth Council.

You can learn more about the fun and enriching volunteer opportunities and register to volunteer on the Town of Mooresville’s volunteer site: https://mooresvillenc.galaxydigital.com/

GROUPS & ORGANIZATIONS
The Parks & Recreation Department has created a Community Outreach division, where the primary focus is reaching the community in new and creative ways. The overall goal for this division is to provide opportunities for all individuals in the community to participate in fun activities while building relationships to inform, involve and support the community.
