Randy Hemann has been Town Manager of Mooresville since September of 2019. Prior to coming to Mooresville, he served as Assistant City Manager for Community Services in High Point where he helped construct a $36 million baseball stadium that spurred downtown growth which is now anticipated to reach $370 million in 5 years. Also, he helped streamline the building inspections process and increased community code enforcement to help clean up the community.

Prior to High Point, Hemann was City Manager in Oxford, North Carolina for two years following a 27-year career in the field of downtown development in Salisbury, Kinston, and Benson, North Carolina.

In Mooresville Hemann has worked with the Board to develop a strategic vision that has helped the Town improve facilities and services and achieve its mission to serve citizens.

Hemann is a native of Huntington, West Virginia. He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Marshall University and a Master of Public Administration from East Carolina University.
