Is there any size limit or amount to the yard waste I can put out?
Large piles resulting from homeowners cutting up a tree (the Town does not collect piles from Contractors) that are larger than a pickup truck load are still collected. Large piles are ‘marked’ using GPS technology and a special ‘boom truck’ is routed. This normally happens within a few days of the large pile being marked. The Town will not collect stumps that have rocks or dirt in the root ball as this damages processing equipment.
