On Wednesday, there was a cyber attack on the financial software provider used by many local governments, including the Town of Mooresville. As soon as we learned of the issue, the Town shut down our online bill pay system and other financial transactions programs. After investigating the issue, Tyler Technologies determined the impact of the cyberattack was limited to their internal network and phone systems, and no client data, client servers or hosted systems were affected. The Town’s online bill pay system is back online. No other action is recommended.
