Gov. Cooper signs Executive Order 134, assisting temporarily furloughed workers

Governor Roy Cooper has issued Executive Order 134, which will allow temporarily-furloughed employees to receive voluntary payments from employers without impairing unemployment benefits and without resulting in the employees waiting additional weeks for benefits.
