Chief Campurciani is currently serving in the leadership capacity of Chief of Police. He began his law enforcement career in 1985 with the Dover Police Department in New Hampshire.
In 1987, he transferred to the West Springfield Police Department in West Springfield, Massachusetts, where he spent the majority of his career.
During his career as a law enforcement officer, his duties over the years included narcotics investigations, commanding the department's Special Response Team, and taking charge of Internal Affairs.
While at West Springfield PD, Campurciani rose to the rank of Chief, and retired in May 2018. He is also the former Executive Director of the Western Mass Police Chiefs Association.
Campurciani received his bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement from Western New England College and his Master's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the same institution. Additionally, he graduated from the 195th session of the FBI National Academy.
